This soup is phenomenal! The best thing about it is it only takes 5 minutes to prepare! If you can open a can, you can make this soup. It is also very budget friendly, filling, and secretly good for you. This will be a hit with your family and friends. It will warm you up on a cold fall day, winter day, summer day; any day really.

  • 1 ½ lb ham, cubed
  • 3 can white northern beans
  • 2 can Italian flavored tomatoes, petite diced
  • 1 can spinach, mustard greens or collard greens
  • 1 can water
  • cooked elbow macaroni, optional
  • shredded cheese, optional


  1. Place above ham, beans, tomatoes, can of chosen greens, and can of water into a pan (usually a 2 quart or more stock pot).
  2. Simmer for approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  3. Enjoy alone or with shredded cheese, and can even add macaroni!
