How To Make Mongolian Beef and Spring Onions

Ingredients
- 1 lb beef steak, thinly sliced
- 3 spring onions, sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions

In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Set aside.

Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add beef slices and cook until browned. Remove from pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add garlic and sliced spring onions. Stir-fry for 1 minute.

Add the sauce mixture to the pan and cook until thickened.

Return the beef to the pan and stir-fry for another minute, until well-coated with the sauce.

Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
