How To Make Sesame-Seared Tuna Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 tuna steak fillets
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, sesame seeds, salt, and pepper.

  2. Place the tuna fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes.

  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over high heat.

  4. Remove the tuna fillets from the marinade and discard the marinade.

  5. Sear the tuna fillets in the hot skillet for about 1-2 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.

  6. Remove the tuna from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.

  7. Slice the seared tuna and serve it immediately.
