How To Make Pan-Fried Whole Trout

Ingredients
- 4 whole trout, cleaned and gutted
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lemon, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions

Season the trout, inside and out, with salt and pepper.

Dredge the trout in flour, shaking off any excess.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Place the trout in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Transfer the cooked trout to a serving platter and keep warm.

In the same skillet, melt the butter and add the lemon slices. Cook for 2 minutes, until fragrant.

Pour the lemon butter sauce over the trout and garnish with fresh parsley.

Serve immediately and enjoy!
