How To Make Grilled Oysters Recipe

Delicious grilled oysters with garlic butter and cheese.

  • 16 fresh oysters, shucked
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • lemon wedges, for serving


  1. Preheat grill to high heat.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, Parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.

  3. Place oysters on the grill, flat side up. Spoon the garlic butter mixture over each oyster.

  4. Close the grill cover and cook for 5-7 minutes until the edges of the oysters start to curl.

  5. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
