Ingredients

  • 12 fresh oysters
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the barbecue grill to medium-high heat.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, softened butter, smoked paprika, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.

  3. Shuck the oysters and place them on the grill.

  4. Spoon a generous amount of the garlic, paprika, and Parmesan butter mixture onto each oyster.

  5. Close the barbecue grill and cook the oysters for about 5-7 minutes, or until the butter is melted and the oysters are fully cooked.

  6. Remove the oysters from the grill and garnish with fresh parsley.

  7. Serve the barbecued oysters hot and enjoy!
