How To Make Copycat Panda Express Black Pepper Chicken
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp. soy sauce
- ½ tsp. ground ginger
- 1 tbsp. chili vinegar
- 3 tbsp. cornstarch
- salt , to taste
- 1 lb. boneless chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 4 tbsp. oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 5 celery stalks, sliced thickly
- 2 tbsp. black pepper
Instructions
To make the chicken marinade:

Combine soy sauce and ginger in a small bowl.

Add ½ tbsp. vinegar, cornstarch and a pinch of salt.

Add the chicken.

Mix well to cover the chicken with marinade. Let sit for 15 minutes
To Cook Chicken:
- Heat 2 tbsp. oil in a hot wok

Saute onion and celery for two minutes.

Add the chicken in the wok with the marinade mixture.

Stir in the remaining ingredients: chili vinegar and black pepper.

Add salt to taste.

Serve hot with the sauce formed in the wok, over rice or noodles
