How To Make Autumn Salad with Pears and Gorgonzola

This autumn salad brings out the best in the season by putting together sweet pears and pecans for taste and texture topped with Gorgonzola cheese.

For Dressing:

  • 2tbspred wine vinegar
  • ½tspdijon mustard
  • 1tsphoney
  • ¼tspsalt
  • ground pepper
  • 3tbspolive oil

For Salad:

  • 2ripe pears,small, peeled and diced
  • ¼cupGorgonzola cheese,crumbled
  • 8ozbaby greens
  • 1ozpecans,about 20 halves


  1. In a large bowl, mix vinegar, mustard, honey, salt and pepper. Whisk in olive oil and blend.

  2. In a separate bowl, combine baby greens, pears, Gorgonzola cheese and pecans.

  3. Add the vinaigrette and toss well upon serving.

  4. Serve immediately.
