How To Make 30 Minute Pressure-Cooker Pot Roast
A platter of fine and meaty chuck roast beef meet tendered with the use of a pressure cooker. This dish serves along with soft golden potatoes.
Ingredients
- 2 lb chuck roast beef
- ½ cup onion, diced small
- ½ cup celery, diced small
- ½ cup carrot, diced small
- ½ lb golden potatoes, quartered
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cups beef stock
- 1 tbsp steak seasoning
- ¼ cup flour
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1½ cups red wine
- 1 rosemary, (sprig), or thyme
- salt and pepper , to taste
Instructions
- Slice your roast along fat lines if the beef is fatty and sprinkle with steak seasoning.
- Once seasoned, place into the base of the pressure cooker.
- In a small bowl, whisk the flour together with your beef stock and butter then pour this mixture into the pressure cooker.
- Finally, add the remaining ingredients and seal your cooker.
- Cook for 30 minutes and set aside to cool down. Make sure that the pressure is totally released before opening the lid.
- Let the beef rest for 5 minutes before slicing, then serve and garnish with chopped parsley!
