Simple, flavorful, and easy to make linguine pasta tossed with garlic and olive oil.

  • 1 pound linguine pasta
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 8 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley


  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.

  2. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  3. Remove skillet from heat, and add cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss until pasta is coated evenly with oil mixture.

  4. If pasta seems too dry, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.

  5. Sprinkle with salt and chopped parsley, and serve hot.
