Ingredients
- 12 oz bow tie pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
Instructions

Cook pasta according to package directions and drain.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.

Add garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for 1 minute.

Add crushed tomatoes, salt, and black pepper and bring to a simmer.

Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add ricotta cheese and stir until smooth.

Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat.
