How To Make Swiss Chicken

Somewhat similar to chicken parmesan but also entirely different, this recipe for Swiss chicken is so good it'll be hard to pass up. Imagine tender chicken breasts cooked along side mushrooms and cream of chicken soup base, then finally covered with Swiss cheese and croutons.

Cook: 45 mins
Total: 55 mins


  • 6 chicken breasts, Perdue Perfect Portion boneless skinless
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 8 oz mushrooms, portabello, sliced
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup croutons, crushed


  1. Brown chicken in skillet with butter.
  2. Place chicken in casserole dish.
  3. Cover chicken with Swiss cheese.
  4. Add mushrooms.
  5. Top with cream of chicken soup.
  6. Cover with crushed croutons.
  7. Cover the pan and bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees F.
