How To Make Mushroom and Swiss Stuffed Chicken Breast Recipe
Juicy chicken breasts stuffed with savory mushroom filling and melted Swiss cheese.

Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.

Add mushrooms, onion, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook until the mushrooms have released their liquid and the onions are translucent, about 5-7 minutes.

Slice a pocket into each chicken breast. Stuff each pocket with the mushroom mixture and 2 tbsp of shredded Swiss cheese.

Heat the same skillet over medium-high heat. Add stuffed chicken breasts and cook until browned on each side, about 4-5 minutes.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.

Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before cutting and serving.
