How To Make Gluten-Free Chicken Cordon Bleu Recipe
A healthier, gluten-free version of the classic French dish made with chicken breasts, ham, and Swiss cheese.

Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 thin slices of ham
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1 cup of gluten-free bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp of garlic powder
- 1 tsp of dried thyme
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Place each chicken breast between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound with a meat mallet until about ¼ inch thick.

Season each breast with salt and pepper on both sides.

Place 2 slices of ham and 1 slice of Swiss cheese on each chicken breast.

Roll each breast tightly and secure with toothpicks.

In a shallow dish, mix together gluten-free bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and thyme.

Dip each chicken breast in the beaten eggs and then coat with the bread crumb mixture.

Heat olive oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet and brown each chicken breast on all sides.

Transfer chicken to a baking dish and bake in preheated oven for 20-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Let cool for a few minutes and then remove toothpicks before serving.
