How To Make Fish Fillets L’Orange

A homemade version of the classic take-away! These fish fillets are wonderfully cooked in a bed of sauce made with orange juice and brown sugar, let to simmer away and soak up that sweet and sour goodness.

  • ½ cup Kikkoman Sweet & Sour Sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 tbsp orange juice
  • 1 lb fish fillets (halibut, sea bass or red snapper- ½ to ¾ in. thick)
  • ¼ cup green onions and tops (thinly sliced )
  • ¼ tsp orange peel (grated fresh )
  1. Blend sweet & sour sauce, brown sugar and orange juice in large skillet with cover.
  2. Arrange fish in single layer in sauce.
  3. Cover and bring to boil.
  4. Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes.
  5. Uncover; stir in green onions and orange peel and spoon sauce over fish.
  6. Cover and simmer 2 to 3 minutes longer, or until fish flakes easily with fork.
  7. To serve, spoon sauce over fish.
