Cooking fish can be very tricky, especially if some are too delicate to be cooked. Well, with our fish recipes, it’ll be easy as 1-2-3. We’ve got the details on different cooking methods for the perfect fish dish.

Preparation: 20 minutes
Cooking: 25 minutes
Total: 45 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 white fish fillets (such as cod or haddock)
  • 4 large potatoes, cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Place the potato wedges in a large bowl, drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat. Sprinkle with salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper, and toss to evenly season.

  3. Arrange the potato wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

  4. While the chips are baking, season the fish fillets with salt and pepper, and dredge in flour, shaking off any excess. Dip each fillet into the beaten eggs, then place on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray.

  5. Bake the fish fillets for 10-12 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

  6. Serve the baked fish and chips hot, with tartar sauce, malt vinegar, or your favorite dipping sauce.
