How To Make Beegee's Gold Star Chili

Ingredients
- 2 ½ lbs. ground chuck meat
- 16 oz. tomato sauce, cans
- 3 onions, finely chopped
- 1 tsp. cayenne red pepper
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tbsp. all spice
- 1 tbsp. white vinegar
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 7 tsp. chili powder
- 1 qt. water
- mozzarella cheese, shredded
- salt , to taste
- pepper , to taste
- vegetable oil, enough for sauté
Instructions
- In a large skillet, or kettle, sauté onion until transparent, add water and meat.
- Break meat into bits.
- Add all other ingredients.
- Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer covered 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Sprinkle with cheese before serving.
- This versatile chili can be eaten alone or served with your favorite hot dog.
- Freezes well.
