How To Make Soba Noodles with Wasabi Garlic Prawns

  • 250g soba noodles
  • 500g prawns, deveined and peeled
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp of wasabi paste
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped spring onions for garnish


  1. Cook soba noodles according to packet instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a bowl, mix together garlic, wasabi paste, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, ginger, salt, and pepper.

  3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add prawns and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink.

  4. Pour the garlic and wasabi sauce over the prawns. Cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

  5. Add the cooked soba noodles to the pan and toss to coat everything evenly in the sauce.

  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped spring onions.
