Ingredients

  • 1 lb prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 8 oz noodles (such as udon or soba)
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
  • Sesame seeds and sliced green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.

  3. In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium-high heat. Add the prawns and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  4. In the same skillet, add the broccoli and sauté for 4-5 minutes, until tender-crisp.

  5. Add the cooked noodles and teriyaki sauce to the skillet. Toss to coat everything evenly and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until heated through.

  6. Return the cooked prawns to the skillet and toss to combine.

  7. Serve the teriyaki prawns and broccoli noodles hot, garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
