How To Make Grilled Lamb Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground lamb
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh mint
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp ground paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • Toppings: lettuce, tomato, red onion, tzatziki sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, breadcrumbs, red onion, garlic, mint, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.

  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.

  4. Place the lamb patties on the preheated grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

  5. Toast the burger buns on the grill for a minute or two, until lightly golden.

  6. Assemble the burgers by placing the grilled lamb patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with lettuce, tomato, red onion, and tzatziki sauce. Cover with the top half of the bun.

  7. Serve the grilled lamb burgers immediately and enjoy!
