  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh mint
  • Lettuce, tomatoes, and red onion slices for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground lamb, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  2. Shape the mixture into 4 patties.

  3. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burgers for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.

  4. While the burgers are cooking, whisk together the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and chopped fresh mint in a small bowl.
