How To Make Crockpot Gingerbread Pudding Cake Recipe
Warm and comforting gingerbread pudding cake made in the crockpot. Perfect for a cozy night in!
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground allspice
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- Whipped cream or ice cream for serving, optional
Instructions

In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon, allspice, and salt.

In another mixing bowl, whisk together molasses, hot water, vegetable oil, and egg until well combined.

Gradually stir in the flour mixture until just combined.

Grease the inside of a 4-quart crockpot. Pour the batter into the crockpot.

Cook on high for 2 1/2 – 3 hours or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Let the pudding cake cool for 10 minutes before serving. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
