A sweet, fruity dessert made in a crockpot.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 can pineapple rings (reserve the juice)

- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup reserved pineapple juice

-
In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, oil, eggs, and reserved pineapple juice. Mix well.
-
Carefully pour the cake batter over the pineapple and cherry layer.
-
Cover and cook on high for 3 hours or low for 5 hours, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
-
Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. To serve, invert the crockpot onto a serving dish, so the pineapple layer is on top.
