How To Make Ground Beef Spinach Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 cups fresh spinach
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion is translucent.

Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.

Stir in the dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.

Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted.

Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a greased casserole dish.

Layer half of the ground beef mixture over the marinara sauce, followed by half of the mozzarella cheese and half of the Parmesan cheese.

Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients: marinara sauce, ground beef mixture, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.

Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving.
