How To Make Fall-off-the-Bone Chicken

This baked chicken dish is so tender, it falls off the bone! The sweet and slightly sour flavor from the adobo seasoning makes this dish a superb easy meal.

  • 1cupmayonnaise
  • 4clovesgarlic,minced
  • 1tspadobo seasoning
  • 1pinchground black pepper
  • 12chicken drumsticks


  1. Line a baking dish with heavy-duty aluminum foil.

  2. Combine mayonnaise, garlic, adobo seasoning, and pepper in a large bowl. Add drumsticks and turn to coat.

  3. Arrange drumsticks in the baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

  4. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  5. Bake chicken in the preheated oven, covered, until falling off the bone, about 2 hours.

  6. Uncover and continue baking until browned, about 30 minutes.
