How To Make Mace and Plum Jam

A sweet and spicy jam made with fresh plums and mace. Perfect spread for bread or as a topping for desserts.

Ingredients

  • 8 plums, pitted and chopped
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 tsp of lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp of ground mace

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine plums, sugar, and lemon juice.

  2. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to medium and stir in ground mace.

  3. Cook jam, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 40 minutes.

  4. Remove from heat and let cool.

  5. Serve and enjoy!
