Ingredients

  • 2 cups plums, pitted and chopped
  • 2 cups raspberries
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, combine the plums, raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice.

  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture comes to a boil.

  3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 35-40 minutes, or until the mixture thickens and reaches the desired consistency.

  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

  5. Pour the jam into sterilized jars and seal tightly.

  6. Allow the jars to cool completely before storing in the refrigerator.

  7. Serve with toast, scones, or your favorite bread.
