- 1 1/2 cups of long-grain rice
- 2 1/2 cups of chicken or vegetable broth

- 2 bay leaves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 tsp of cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1/4 tsp of black pepper
Instructions

Combine rice, broth, olive oil, bay leaves, cinnamon stick, cumin seeds, salt, and black pepper in a pot.

Bring the pot to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until rice is cooked.
