How To Make Bay Leaf Rice Pilaf Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of long-grain rice
  • 2 1/2 cups of chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 tsp of cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 tsp of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine rice, broth, olive oil, bay leaves, cinnamon stick, cumin seeds, salt, and black pepper in a pot.

  2. Bring the pot to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until rice is cooked.

  3. Remove bay leaves and cinnamon stick before serving.
