How To Make Recipe Gluten free Shortcrust Pastry

  • 2 cups gluten-free flour
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1/2 tsp salt


  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free flour and salt.

  2. Add the cold butter cubes and use your fingertips to gently rub the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.

  3. Gradually add in the cold water, a little at a time, and mix until the dough comes together.
