How To Make Oaty Hazelnut Cookies

These oaty hazelnut cookies are delicious and wholesome, perfect for a quick and easy snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup hazelnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, mix together the oats, hazelnuts, flour, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, and vanilla extract.

  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.

  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

  6. Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon.

  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

  8. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
