How To Make Chicken & Almond Pastillas

Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, almond flour, Parmesan cheese, chopped almonds, parsley, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Roll out thawed puff pastry and cut into 4 equal squares.

Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each pastry square. Fold the pastry over the filling to form a triangle and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.

Place the pastillas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with beaten egg.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastillas are golden brown and crispy.
