How To Make Fried Rice Restaurant Style

This flavorful fried rice is made with a mix of vegetables, eggs, and spices, just like the one you get at a restaurant.

Preparation: 15 minutes
Cooking: 20 minutes
Total: 35 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or frying pan over high heat.

  2. Add mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.

  3. Move the vegetables to one side of the pan and add beaten eggs to the other side. Scramble the eggs until fully cooked and mix in the vegetables.

  4. Add cooked white rice to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, breaking up any clumps with a spatula.

  5. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper to the pan and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until the rice is evenly coated and heated through.

  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
