How To Make Del Taco’s Spicy Jack Quesadilla Recipe
A cheesy, spicy and flavorful quesadilla made with pepper jack cheese and secret sauce.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded pepper jack cheese
- 1/4 cup diced green chilies
- 1/4 cup diced jalapenos
- 1/4 cup secret sauce (mayo, hot sauce, cumin, garlic powder)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions

Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Prepare secret sauce by combining mayo, hot sauce, cumin and garlic powder in a small bowl and set aside.

Lay one tortilla on a flat surface, then spread secret sauce over entire surface.

Sprinkle 1/2 cup of shredded pepper jack cheese, a tablespoon of green chilies and a tablespoon of jalapenos on one half of the tortilla.

Fold the other half of the tortilla over the filled half and gently press it down.

Spray the skillet with cooking spray, then place the folded tortilla on the skillet.

Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until tortilla is crispy and golden brown and cheese is melted.

Repeat with remaining tortillas and fillings, until all quesadillas are cooked.

Cut each quesadilla into four wedges and serve with dollops of sour cream and extra hot sauce, if desired.
