How To Make Del Taco’s Macho Combo Burrito
A filling and flavorful burrito filled with seasoned beef, beans, cheese, and creamy sauce.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 packet of taco seasoning
- 1 can of refried beans
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup of Del Taco’s secret sauce (recipe below)
- 1/2 cup of diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup of diced onions
- Del Taco’s Secret Sauce Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp of white vinegar
- 1 tbsp of water
- 1 tbsp of minced pickled jalapeños
- 1 tbsp of sugar
- 1/2 tsp of cumin
- 1/2 tsp of paprika
- 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat for about 5-7 minutes, or until browned. Drain grease.

Add taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water to the skillet and stir until the beef is evenly coated. Simmer for about 5 minutes.

Warm the refried beans in a separate pan.

To assemble the burritos, spread a large spoonful of refried beans on each tortilla, leaving a one inch border around the edges.

Add a scoop of seasoned beef on top of the beans. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.

Drizzle a generous amount of Del Taco’s secret sauce on top of the meat and cheese.

Fold the edges of the tortilla inwards, then roll up the burrito tightly. Repeat with remaining tortillas.

Place the burritos seam-side down on a baking sheet and bake in preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tortilla is slightly crispy.

Garnish the burritos with diced tomatoes and onions before serving.
