How To Make Dairy Free Cajun Chicken Pasta Recipe
Deliciously spicy cajun chicken pasta without dairy.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 10 oz linguine
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
- 1 yellow onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions

Cook linguine in salted water according to package directions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add onion and garlic. Cook until softened.

Add paprika, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Stir until combined.

Add diced tomatoes, chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.

Add cooked linguine, reserved pasta water, and cooked chicken. Stir to combine.

Serve with fresh parsley, if desired.
