  • 1 cup cream soda, (8 oz)
  • ½ cup butterscotch syrup, (4 oz), or sauce*
  • ½ tbsp butter
  • whipped cream, optional

Instructions

  1. Pour the butterscotch syrup into a bowl.
  2. Add the softened butter and mix to combine together.
  3. Pour the cream soda into the mixture and stir.
  4. Pour the mixture into clear mugs and top the butterbeer with a few dollops of whipped cream. Enjoy!

  • For an alcoholic version, try replacing butterscotch syrup/sauce with about 1 to 2 ounces of both butterscotch liqueur/schnapps and vanilla vodka.
