  • ¼cupbutter
  • 2bananas,ripe, sliced
  • ¼cupwhite sugar
  • 2tbspwhiskey,or more to taste
  • 1tbsphoney
  • 4flour tortillas,(10-inch)
  • ½cupvegetable oil


  • 8 toothpicks


  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Add the bananas and sugar; cook and stir for 5 minutes until sugar is dissolved. Stir in the whiskey.

  3. Pour in the honey, then simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 2 minutes until the flavors are combined. Remove from heat.

  4. Heat the tortillas, one at a time, in a microwave for 8 seconds until pliable.

  5. Spoon some of the banana mixture onto the bottom third of a tortilla. Fold in opposing edges and roll tortilla up tightly like a burrito, securing ends with toothpicks. Repeat with remaining mixture and tortillas.

  6. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  7. Fry tortillas for about 2 minutes per side until golden brown.

  8. Serve and enjoy.
