How To Make Fluffy Cake Doughnuts

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Heat vegetable oil in a large pot or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).

Using a doughnut cutter or cookie cutter, cut out doughnut shapes from the dough.

Carefully place the doughnuts into the hot oil and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown.

Remove the doughnuts from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Once cooled, dust the doughnuts with powdered sugar before serving.
