How To Make Cinnamon Sugar Donuts
This cinnamon sugar donut recipe is curled up by the fire. You can simply make it with the ingredients in your kitchen and it won't take long to finish too.
Ingredients
For donuts:
- 2 cups flour
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- ¾ cup buttermilk
For coating:
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- â…“ cup sugar
- 1 ½ Tbsp cinnamon
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a donut pan with cooking spray and set aside.

In a medium bowl mix together the flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.

In a different bowl whisk the eggs, vanilla, butter, and buttermilk.

Stir the mixture into the dry ingredients by hand until fully combined.

Fill each spot in the donut tin about ⅔ – ¾ of the way full with batter.

Bake in the oven for 9 to 12 minutes.

Let them cool.

While they’re cooling, mix together the coating.

Once the donuts are cool enough to handle safely, dunk them into the coating.
