How To Make Coconut Macaroons

With just five ingredients, you can easily make these crunchy and chewy macaroons drizzled with a rich chocolate topping for that extra sweet taste.

Ingredients

  • cupsflaked coconut
  • cupflour
  • tspsalt
  • 14ozsweetened condensed milk
  • 2tspvanilla extract

For Chocolate Dip or Drizzle:

  • 1cupsemi sweet chocolate chips
  • ½tspcoconut oil (or vegetable oil)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and prepare baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Combine coconut, flour and salt.

  3. Mix in sweetened condensed milk and vanilla.

  4. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto the baking sheet (about 1-inch balls).

  5. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until browned on the edges. Cool completely.

Chocolate Dip or Drizzle:

  1. Microwave chocolate chips and coconut oil in a small bowl at 50% power until almost melted, about 60 to 80 seconds stirring occasionally.

  2. Dip the bottom of each cooled macaroon into the chocolate and place on a parchment lined pan. Drizzle with remaining chocolate if desired.

  3. Refrigerate to set chocolate.
