
How To Make Coconut Macaroons
With just five ingredients, you can easily make these crunchy and chewy macaroons drizzled with a rich chocolate topping for that extra sweet taste.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 5½cupsflaked coconut
- ⅔cupflour
- ⅛tspsalt
- 14ozsweetened condensed milk
- 2tspvanilla extract
For Chocolate Dip or Drizzle:
- 1cupsemi sweet chocolate chips
- ½tspcoconut oil (or vegetable oil)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and prepare baking sheet with parchment paper.

Combine coconut, flour and salt.

Mix in sweetened condensed milk and vanilla.

Drop by rounded tablespoons onto the baking sheet (about 1-inch balls).

Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until browned on the edges. Cool completely.
Chocolate Dip or Drizzle:

Microwave chocolate chips and coconut oil in a small bowl at 50% power until almost melted, about 60 to 80 seconds stirring occasionally.

Dip the bottom of each cooled macaroon into the chocolate and place on a parchment lined pan. Drizzle with remaining chocolate if desired.

Refrigerate to set chocolate.
