How To Make Low Calorie Coconut Macaroons
Light, fluffy and coconutty macaroons with less sugar and calories!
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp of almond extract
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 1 and 1/2 cups of shredded coconut
Instructions

Preheat oven at 350°F/175°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, beat egg whites until they are stiff.

Then, add sugar, vanilla extract, almond extract, salt and mix well.

After that, gently fold in shredded coconut.

Drop spoonfuls of the mixture on prepared baking sheet.

Bake 18-20 minutes or until macaroons turn golden brown.

Allow macaroons to cool down before serving.
