How To Make Mounds Coconut Macaroons Recipe
Deliciously sweet and chewy coconut macaroons dipped in dark chocolate and topped with sliced almonds.

Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg whites, sugar, salt, and vanilla extract until frothy.

Add in the shredded coconut and mix until well combined.

Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, about 1 inch apart.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Let macaroons cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave or on a double boiler.

Dip the bottom of each macaroon into the melted chocolate and place back on the wire rack.

Sprinkle sliced almonds over the chocolate and let it set for a few minutes.
