Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cooked white rice
  • 4 sheets of nori (seaweed)
  • 4 small pieces of grilled chicken
  • 4 small pieces of teriyaki salmon
  • 4 small pieces of tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette)
  • 4 pieces of inari sushi (seasoned tofu pouches filled with sushi rice)
  • 4 slices of cucumber
  • 4 cherry tomatoes
  • 4 slices of pickled radish
  • 4 slices of carrot kinpira (stir-fried carrots)

Instructions

  1. Place a sheet of nori on a flat surface and add a scoop of rice in the center.

  2. Arrange the grilled chicken, teriyaki salmon, tamagoyaki, inari sushi, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, pickled radish, and carrot kinpira in separate sections on top of the rice.

  3. Fold the sides of the nori over the fillings to create a square shape.

  4. Repeat steps 1-3 for the remaining bento boxes.

  5. Serve the bento boxes with soy sauce or any desired dipping sauce.

  6. Enjoy your homemade Japanese-style bento box!
