Preparation: 20 minutes
Cooking: 0 minutes
Total: 20 minutes

  • 250g mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp coffee liqueur
  • 16 ladyfinger cookies
  • Cocoa powder for dusting
  • Whipped cream for topping

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, sugar, and coffee liqueur. Mix until smooth and well combined.

  2. Dip each ladyfinger cookie into the brewed coffee, ensuring it is soaked but not soggy. Place soaked cookies in a single layer in serving glasses or a dish.

  3. Spread a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the soaked cookies.

  4. Repeat layers of soaked cookies and mascarpone mixture until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of mascarpone mixture on top.

  5. Dust the top with cocoa powder and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight to allow flavors to meld.

  6. Before serving, top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cocoa powder.
