How To Make Air Fryer Vegetable Pakoras

Crispy and flavorful, these vegetarian fritters are a perfect snack or appetizer.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup besan (gram flour)
  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup mixed veggies (carrot, onion, green beans, bell pepper) chopped
  • 1 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine besan, rice flour, cumin seeds, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt.

  2. Add water slowly to make a thick batter. Mix well to remove any lumps.

  3. Add chopped veggies and mix well.

  4. Preheat the air fryer at 375°F for 5 minutes.

  5. Grease the air fryer basket with oil.

  6. Using a spoon, drop small portions of the vegetable mixture into the basket.

  7. Air fry for 12-15 minutes until golden brown (flip halfway through).

  8. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
