How To Make Chinese Cabbage and Tofu Stir Fry Recipe

A vegan stir-fry recipe with Chinese cabbage and tofu that is both healthy and delicious.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 block (16 oz) of extra-firm tofu, drained and cut into cubes
  • 1 head of Chinese cabbage, washed and chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Add tofu and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes.

  3. Add cabbage, bell pepper, mushrooms, garlic, and ginger. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Add soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until sauce has thickened and vegetables are tender.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve with rice or noodles.
