  • 1 lb Chinese broccoli, washed and trimmed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  2. Add Chinese broccoli to the pan and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until wilted and vibrant green.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and broth. Pour the sauce over the broccoli and stir well to coat.

  4. Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes until the broccoli is tender but still crisp.

  5. Serve hot as a side dish or as a main course with steamed rice or noodles.
