How To Make Copycat Subway Veggie Patty Recipe
A delicious vegetarian patty recipe similar to Subway’s, packed with protein and veggies.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup of old-fashioned oats
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 tsp of paprika
- 1 tsp of cumin
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1/4 tsp of black pepper
- 4 buns
- Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, mustard, etc.)
Instructions

In a food processor, pulse the chickpeas and oats until combined but still chunky.

In a pan, sauté the carrot, onion, and garlic in olive oil until tender.

Add the chickpea mixture to the pan, along with the paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for a few minutes until heated through.

Let the mixture cool slightly, then form into 4 patties.

Grill or fry the patties for about 10 minutes on each side, until browned and cooked through.

Toast the buns and assemble the sandwiches with the patties and desired toppings.
