How To Make Potbelly Turkey Club Sandwich Recipe

A classic deli sandwich stacked with turkey, bacon, veggies, and sauce.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of whole wheat bread
  • 1 lb of sliced turkey breast
  • 8 slices of cooked bacon
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp of Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 1/2 cup of shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup of sliced cucumber
  • 1/4 cup of sliced tomato
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Lay out 8 slices of bread and spread mayonnaise on each slice.

  3. On 4 of the slices of bread, add turkey, bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, cucumber, and tomato.

  4. Mix Dijon mustard and honey together and spread on the remaining 4 slices of bread.

  5. Place the mustard and honey coated bread on top of the sandwich fillings to create a sandwich.

  6. Butter the outside of each sandwich.

  7. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and place the sandwiches in the skillet to cook for about 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

  8. Transfer to preheated oven and bake for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

  9. Serve hot with chips or French fries.
