How To Make Potbelly Italian Sandwich Recipe

A classic Italian sandwich with savory meats, tangy peppers, and melty cheese on crusty bread.

Ingredients

  • 1 long loaf of crusty bread
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1/4 lb of thinly sliced salami
  • 1/4 lb of thinly sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 lb of thinly sliced ham
  • 8 slices of provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup of diced roasted red peppers
  • 1/2 cup of sliced banana peppers
  • 1/4 cup of Italian dressing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Slice bread lengthwise and brush each half with olive oil.

  3. Layer salami, pepperoni, ham, and cheese on the bottom half of the bread.

  4. Top with red peppers, banana peppers, and Italian dressing.

  5. Place top half of bread on top and wrap sandwich with foil.

  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes.

  7. Remove from oven, unwrap foil, and slice into 4 sandwiches.
